Legends of The Game
With 18 Grand Slam championships, Fred Stolle ranks seventh on the All-Time List of Tennis champions. This Australian's 1985 induction into the International Tennis Hall of fame is testimony to his talents, and a lasting tribute to a Legend.
One of the leading players of the 1970s and one of the greatest doubles players in the history of tennis, Bob Lutz won 44 Open Era doubles titles and was a finalist in 29 other events.

A member of five championship Davis Cup teams for the United States, with an undefeated record in the Challenge Round finals, he stormed the courts with his stamina and style. Besides his doubles titles, Bob netted nine singles during his career on the pro tour.

Joining forces with Stan Smith, this acclaimed team won the US Open four times on four different surfaces, grass, clay, hard, and indoor! They won the Australian Open once and were three-time Wimbledon finalists. They hold an impressive 13-1 winning Davis Cup record and are considered to be one of the top 10 teams in the history of the sport.

After victories in the US Pro Championships in 1972, Lutz’s distinguished career was interrupted by knee injuries. Not to be held back, he returned to the tour to win three titles in 1980.

In tribute to his determination, talent and accomplishments, Bob Lutz was honored as comeback player of the year.

In the early stages of Lutz’s career, he earned All-American honors at the University of Southern California, winning the N.C.A.A. singles title in 1967, and teamed with Stan Smith, won the doubles titles in 1967 and 1968.
